The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Biagio Cera. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Franz-Josef Beckenbauer's late challenge caught a C.A.Esparta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 43 minutes of play, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Cera was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Montesacro Utd's Biagio Cera got control of the ball when Julio Chus tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurito Boselli made a kick off. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Julio Chus hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Pombal in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montesacro Utd's zone, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Cera came out of the goal and Sven-Hendrik Ohmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
