With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alda Abelaira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Arruda having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emirares Bastos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Arruda was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 15 minutes of play, Recreativo FC®'s Ferenc Újházi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Westbam's Tony Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Újházi in the 76th minute of play. Bartosz Mochowak kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Tony Arruda made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rogério De Matos sent off a good shot on target. Recreativo FC®'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
