In the 15th minute, Israel Vito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godo Gøl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tomislav Kardum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Staniscia in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jirko Bur hit a great ball. If Carlinhos Giménez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon got free with Tomislav Kardum in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Staniscia in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomislav Kardum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Israel Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godo Gøl having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's Cosimo Staniscia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomislav Kardum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Taborda during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Israel Vito made the kick off in the second half. When Nepomuk Schyder fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lugano's protests and gave Nepomuk Schyder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Cosimo Staniscia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. FC Lugano made a substitution. Garnier Nüesch replaced Teddy Racine. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dark Wolves FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Staniscia in the 84th minute of play forced Dark Wolves FC's goalkeeper Tomislav Kardum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Benoit Ritieni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomislav Kardum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Giménez came free, but Godo Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
