When Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Galicia Lviv's protests and gave Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, FC Galicia Lviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Sebastião Tróia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Boldrini skillfully saved the ball. Gustavo Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowen Doherty in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mauro Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Bulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Grêmio Bulls's Maadan 张正乐 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them. FC Galicia Lviv's Gustavo Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lehen in the 21st minute of play. Gustavo Boldrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Sena's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Rowen Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Boldrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Romulo Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Boldrini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Lehen went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rowen Doherty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Boldrini having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myroslav Akymenko got free with Maadan 张正乐 in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Galicia Lviv's Gustavo Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lehen in the 37th minute of play. Gustavo Boldrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
In the 55th minute, Rowen Doherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Boldrini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pavlo Paraschiy scored 1-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maadan 张正乐, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes, Pavlo Paraschiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Galicia Lviv and the Grêmio Bulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, FC Galicia Lviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlo Paraschiy to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes FC Galicia Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Golaydo. Kauan de Andrade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gustavo Boldrini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kostyantyn Svintsitskyi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Celso Furtado from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Gustavo Boldrini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gustavo Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowen Doherty in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes FC Galicia Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Myroslav Akymenko. After 73rd play minutes Mauro Sena shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Gustavo Boldrini and just under the crossbar into goal. Rowen Doherty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Boldrini having to make a save. Grêmio Bulls were furious when Sebastião Tróia was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang was substituted for Mauro Sena. In the 84th minute, one of Grêmio Bulls:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio Bulls. Kauan de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Myroslav Akymenko came free, but Maadan 张正乐 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Kauan de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauan de Andrade in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Boldrini saved FC Galicia Lviv from getting behind. Maadan 张正乐 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pylyp Vitvitskyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
