In the 47thth minute of the game Luciano Lorenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Singlar Club FC made a substitution. Fausto Celio replaced Cesar Pillud. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
