The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredão Fernandez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Akira アキラ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredão Fernandez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Akira アキラ! In the 28th minute, Mohamed Mané left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florão da América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Guilherme de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Riquelme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Florão da América got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Porto. Hermínio Motta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme de Souza got free with Juan Riquelme in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Guilherme de Souza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Riquelme. Guilherme de Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Juan Riquelme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute, Mohamed Mané made a precise shot to the right of Juan Riquelme. Akira アキラ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme de Souza to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Guilherme de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florão da América's attentive Dragolyub Chavdarov managed to snatch the ball when Faustão Fernandes made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. If Mandi Bulín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dragolyub Chavdarov hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Guilherme de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Riquelme was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, Dragolyub Chavdarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florão da América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akira アキラ the free kick. Guilherme de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Riquelme having to interfere. Akira アキラ's Juan Riquelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 78th minute of play. If Guilherme de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the game, Guilherme de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Juan Riquelme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Riquelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Mané in the 87th minute of the match. Florão da América's Dragolyub Chavdarov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustão Fernandes, made in the 89th minute of the game. Gwidon Juchno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Lucas in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Akira アキラ's Romário MacAlister made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gwidon Juchno was left in no man's land by his defense there!
