San Roque FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Will Alderson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 44 played minutes San Roque FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ramírez. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Firmino made a kick off. Ruben Sheehan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Parzysz having to make a save. Igor Parzysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Sheehan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Andre Shakespeare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Parzysz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, San Roque FC's Harvey Davies threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan-Olof Möllgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, San Roque FC's Hegoi Usabiaga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Firmino in the 94th minute of play. The Greenbay support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
