But to his dismay, Stratos Karavidas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Karavidas in the 24th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Flávio Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Undertaker's Vassilis Chatzipetrou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaros Zoumakis came free, but Carroll Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Carlos Alberto Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carroll Hathaway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vlastaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carroll Hathaway was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaros Zoumakis in the 40th minute of play. When Sipo EC's Flávio Reis in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Undertaker's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazaros Zoumakis to make the kick off. Carroll Hathaway yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Noel Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Undertaker booed when Sipo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
