Zé Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes, Mihály Medgyesi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guansa's Alfonso Lauro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Percival Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alfonso Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guansa booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Medgyesi's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Zé Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Dalmu in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Percival Koehler. Percival Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Lauro having to interfere. With his leg Alfonso Lauro managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Augusto Stephen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Percival Koehler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfonso Lauro. Alfonso Lauro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Augusto Stephen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 44th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihály Medgyesi to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Ipar charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Ipar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavio Ipar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Guansa's Alfonso Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Almstedt in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Kasper Almstedt made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Lauro. Guansa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 62nd minute, João Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Izel in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victoriano Dalmu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Guansa's Victoriano Dalmu to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Galvão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 67th minute, Bartolo Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasper Almstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Lauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Medgyesi in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Lauro saved Guansa from getting behind. Pombal 2003 F.C. were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Guansa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kasper Almstedt took the corner. In the 73rd minute Mihály Medgyesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Augusto Stephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Lauro. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Stephen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Percival Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Stephen in the 87th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Alfonso Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
