In the 5th minute, Telo Estruch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mattias Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute, Tomas Asserlindh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Sebastian Jayvier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Olofsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Arquett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joacim Andersson in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Sebastian Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Andersson in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, StraX Xenon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jayvier came free, but Mattias Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Sebastian Jayvier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mattias Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Mattias Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 40th minute of play. Mattias Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telo Estruch, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tomas Asserlindh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fernando Arquett made a huge save. Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valdemar Emander, made in the 46th minute of the game. The StraX Xenon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercado Paulista F.C were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joacim Andersson made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Pelle Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Gernberg made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonas Hellqvist immediately put the ball in play. After 65 minutes, Hugo Gernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StraX Xenon FC and the Mercado Paulista F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mattias Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 66th minute of the match. Sebastian Jayvier took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Olofsson. Mattias Olofsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 69 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Olofsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. StraX Xenon FC's Mattias Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save StraX Xenon FC from getting a goal against them. Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Hellqvist in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute Jonas Hellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Arquett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jayvier came free, but Mattias Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sebastian Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Hellqvist hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Mercado Paulista F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mercado Paulista F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
