Spectators: 197 (Terracing: 149, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Jörn Svartengren made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute Ovidio Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Jörn Svartengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Bonadona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The throw-in from Victor Morales in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mira United FC's Dércio Moreira. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 20th minute of play. Gregório Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Svartengren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Bonadona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jörn Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Bonadona having to interfere. A collision led to Mira United FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ademar Ramires hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Salvador Musacchio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Bonadona narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregório Neiva was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ademar Ramires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de Guayaquil FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovidio Argina was slow to take the kick. During this time Mira United FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ovidio Argina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Hellkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lorenzo Acutain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eriberto Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Éric Cantona replaced Jörn Svartengren. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jakub Ziombkowski was substituted for Victor Morales. 77 minutes into the game, Éric Cantona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eriberto Bonadona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Desiderio Henric hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregório Neiva during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inter de Guayaquil FC booed when Mira United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregório Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Salvador Musacchio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Guayaquil FC reached it. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éric Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Mira United FC defense, Jakub Ziombkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Bonadona. The Mira United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Bonadona should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Inter de Guayaquil FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
