After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Neves got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Marquinhos Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edinho Paraíba having to make a save. Marquinhos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Edinho Paraíba made a huge save. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Marquinhos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Paraíba. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Edinho Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marquinhos Santos sent off a good shot on target. If Marquinhos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marquinhos Santos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Edinho Paraíba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marquinhos Santos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Edinho Paraíba 17 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Wit Chuchro in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PREZULO FC's Luciano Guib. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba got control of the ball when Marquinhos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marquinhos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edinho Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Marquinhos Santos sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edinho Paraíba. Marquinhos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 36 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Santos came free, but Edinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maverick Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Eriksen was slow to take the kick. During this time PREZULO FC's players had a chance to rest. After 40 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Abderaouf Bensaoula. Marquinhos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Edinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Marquinhos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PREZULO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marquinhos Santos to make the kick off. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fabian Adriaanse got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alfredinho Massa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Santos in the 57th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarbas Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Neves in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Marquinhos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira was substituted for Santiago Eriksen. PREZULO FC made a substitution. Betão de Brito replaced Olgierd Literski. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute PREZULO FC were awarded a corner. Betão de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Betão de Brito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Albano Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Jaunzuria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Ferreira in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Paraíba saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Ferreira in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Isaac Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wit Chuchro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Albano Jaunzuria's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Edinho Paraíba on his right side and into the goal. 91 minutes into the game it was 8-0. 96 minutes into the match, Betão de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Paraíba. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maverick Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PREZULO FC.
