The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Linus Stenström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Bo Kruuse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingpins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kristoffer Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Ogazón got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristoffer Nordin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 20th minute of the match Kingpins got a corner. Kattvik kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Ogazón ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Ogazón got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristoffer Nordin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bo Kruuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Nordin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Olsman came free, but Kristoffer Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Kruuse struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Kristoffer Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingpins. Linus Stenström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Christer Fernström made a huge save. The Kattvik kings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kingpins were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Lundgren to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Bo Kruuse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristoffer Nordin. That made the score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. Kingpins's Ger Berdennikov was substituted for Bo Kruuse. In the 62nd minute, Kingpins's Ger Berdennikov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristoffer Nordin. Kristoffer Nordin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 65 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Stenström came free, but Christer Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pang Jun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Kristoffer Nordin made a huge save. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ger Berdennikov in the 74th minute of play. Kingpins's Christer Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Engström in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Söder during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roger Söder hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Christer Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Stenström in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Emanuel Ogazón got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Västerstrand got free with Kristoffer Nordin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Kingpins left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kattvik kings.
