Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Arnau started the match with the kick off. Marcos Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Fydrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Lucho Lema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 13 minutes, Mikael Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Branca del Vieja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes of play, El Branca del Vieja's Mikael Hammarbäck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorsten Ternes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 minutes, Jonas Fydrich made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Branca del Vieja's Marcos Muc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Jonen in the 24th minute of the match. Thorsten Ternes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Hammarbäck went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mikael Hammarbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Tim Buß. Thorsten Ternes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Leopoldo Arnau scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thorsten Ternes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Haase got free with Marcos Muc in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thorsten Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Hammarbäck in the 45th minute of play. Leopoldo Arnau's late challenge caught a International Thunders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Arnau helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Branca del Vieja getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Leopoldo Arnau hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Haase made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Hammarbäck came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Hammarbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Fydrich. Leopoldo Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Hammarbäck in the 68th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Tim Köppen in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Branca del Vieja's Sergio Soret. In the 73rd match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Steinki to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, El Branca del Vieja's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Steinki came free, but Marcos Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorsten Ternes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Hammarbäck in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Zielinski in the 85th minute of play forced El Branca del Vieja's goalkeeper Marcos Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Hammarbäck got free with Thorsten Ternes in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Hammarbäck in the 91st minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tim Buß fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Tim Buß a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Tim Buß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Branca del Vieja's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
