In the 12th minute Herblay were awarded a corner. Joe Grosso went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Éthan Plantade got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ulisses Teixeira hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Ryan Hellec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kylian Wiart hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Percy Cearense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustave Héron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erik Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Batiste Botella came free, but Pedro Luiz Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Berger to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Erik Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herblay the free kick. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Erik Ferraz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Joe Grosso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz Matorin skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Wiart in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes AS Pikachuzim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Grosso who took care of the corner kick. Kylian Wiart made a great header on Herblay's corner, it was just that AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Luiz Matorin came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Kylian Wiart. But to his dismay, Kylian Wiart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kylian Wiart to strike the kick off in the second half. If Christophe Beaulieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kylian Wiart sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jean-Michel Portier hit a great ball. AS Pikachuzim's Rodolfo Pinheiro was substituted for Wilton Carneiro. In the 58th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Michel Portier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Joe Grosso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Kylian Wiart got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kylian Wiart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Matorin made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Cearense came free, but Gustave Héron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éthan Plantade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustave Héron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Berger in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Batiste Botella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herblay's supporters rose to their feet, but Batiste Botella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Wiart in the 79th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christophe Beaulieu got free with Pedro Luiz Matorin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kazimierz Tylinski kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Lucas Reis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustave Héron. Herblay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
