In the 37th match minute, Fesport FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Gonzalvez to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tony Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diagur Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Gonzalo Cazorla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fesport FC and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fesport FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gonzalo Cazorla hit a great ball. Luiz Guilherme Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Diagur Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fesport FC's Geovânio de Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldovino Nueva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fesport FC's Diagur Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Messias in the 65th minute of play. Andrézinho Messias scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diagur Infante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 minutes, Silverio Jaen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fesport FC and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Pandiani got free with Geovânio de Medeiros in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 81 minutes on the clock, Giro Dean commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
