Felipe Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlitos Teves went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Jose Villarmerin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave the xeneise dream team the free kick. Felipe Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Barbosa in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Ariel Juvenal got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 39th minute, Eloi Lantaron made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Txema. the xeneise dream team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Anthonio Zeppeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthonio Zeppeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthonio Zeppeli in the 43rd minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Leopoldo Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Celestino Barbosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Varela, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Leopoldo Txema successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Gaskon Feloaga was substituted for Markel Joestar. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Gaskon Feloaga got a free kick in the 66th minute. the xeneise dream team's Ariel Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Txema made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Joan-Manuel Joestar sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestino Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. the xeneise dream team's Celestino Barbosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felipe Varela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Roman Luar hit a great ball. the xeneise dream team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celestino Barbosa in the 80th minute. The corner led to the xeneise dream team's Serafin Aresti getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. the xeneise dream team's Leopoldo Txema proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save the xeneise dream team from getting a goal against them. the xeneise dream team's Leopoldo Txema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthonio Zeppeli in the 85th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Xilo Cortada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Txema. The goal made the score 2-2.
