The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomero Beturian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erez Marica, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd match minute, Tello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Remicio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tello AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Virgilio Baristo hit a great ball. When Intimos de Reynoso's Gus Arrelucea in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tello AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Tello AFC's Baldomero Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepito Arrelucea in the 12th minute of play. Baldomero Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Arrelucea went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Tello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Tavio to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Gus Arrelucea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Beturian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute, Elpidio Jax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gus Arrelucea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Beturian. Tello AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erez Marica in the 34th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erez Marica in the 40th minute of play. Baldomero Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erez Marica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tello AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Intimos de Reynoso were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Emilio Colas made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Colas came free, but Oliver Arrelucea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Beturian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gus Arrelucea. Baldomero Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erez Marica in the 67th minute of play. Gus Arrelucea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Baldomero Beturian made a huge save. Matthew Tielve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Jaen Barrallo replaced Erez Marica. Baldomero Beturian came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Intimos de Reynoso's Pepito Arrelucea. But to his dismay, Pepito Arrelucea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Virgilio Baristo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Baristo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Baristo. Gus Arrelucea's shot from long distance in the 82nd minute was not bad at all, but Tello AFC's Baldomero Beturian knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When Emilio Colas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tello AFC's protests and gave Emilio Colas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tello AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Emilio Colas hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, David Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
