Bianco Casciano charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Valentin Lemnaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Traian Pivniceru had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Aurelio Ucci fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LEBEG Team's protests and gave Aurelio Ucci a yellow card for diving instead. Stiinta-Univ. made a substitution. Horaţiu Macamete replaced Traian Pivniceru. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when LEBEG Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Ucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Băieșu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Aurelio Ucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stiinta-Univ.'s Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Lucantoni in the 14th minute of play. Christian Gallucci hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Mircea Creangă got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Lemnaru hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Lemnaru got free with La Para in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes of play LEBEG Team's Bianco Casciano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to LEBEG Team getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bianco Casciano hit a great ball. With a little luck, LEBEG Team's La Para got control of the ball when Valentin Lemnaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Horaţiu Macamete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Para saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Lemnaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and La Para could save by the left post. In the 40th minute, Fedele Lucantoni made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, LEBEG Team's La Para got control of the ball when Valentin Lemnaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mihai Niță's late challenge caught a LEBEG Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihai Niță helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Niță to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fedele Lucantoni to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fedele Lucantoni came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the LEBEG Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Lucantoni couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute of the match Stiinta-Univ. got a corner. LEBEG Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stelian Blidaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to LEBEG Team getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Đerat Izzard hit a great ball. Fedele Lucantoni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Bogdan Lobonț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Fedele Lucantoni in the 73rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Bogdan Lobonț kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Aurelio Ucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Lobonț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Seremet during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Avram Seremet. Aurelio Ucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute.
