In the 10thth minute of the game Gustavo Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ortegano's Rozarius Sanjurjo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rozarius Sanjurjo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Rozarius Sanjurjo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Gol. After 15 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Hermelando Feliciano. After having played for 15 minutes, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Ignacio Gaig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Gustavo Gol made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Ortegano's Rozarius Sanjurjo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvin Vennerberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. F.C. Sosnowiec's Edvin Vennerberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rozarius Sanjurjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Zworski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Vordenbäumen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rozarius Sanjurjo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustavo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronald Vordenbäumen to make the kick off. F.C. Sosnowiec's Dominik Zworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Apelkvist in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C. Sosnowiec defense, Ronald Vordenbäumen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Zworski. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Zworski should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Gustavo Gol made a precise shot to the right of Rozarius Sanjurjo. Deportivo Ortegano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 68 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Arizabal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gol in the 69th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Rozarius Sanjurjo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rozarius Sanjurjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gol in the 70th minute of the match. If Edvin Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstanty Literski charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konstanty Literski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Konstanty Literski. In the 76th minute of the game, Saturnino Honrio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 76 minutes, Ignacio Gaig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Ortegano and the F.C. Sosnowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. F.C. Sosnowiec's Zdzislaw Czciborek was substituted for Saturnino Honrio. In the 88th match minute, Deportivo Ortegano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Soares to maneuver through the defense. Zaaki 凌统 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bartolome Villaseca hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Ortegano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. Sosnowiec.
