If Emilio Alberete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martxel Bernia to maneuver through the defense. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Re Loco's Gerardo Casado. But to his dismay, Gerardo Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 12 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Oso Freyle. With a little luck, Re Loco's Haroldo Emenon got control of the ball when Sengrat Vid tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Martxel Bernia hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Ismael Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Ubiña. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Ubiña should have stopped the shot. Sidoro Romeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Emenon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Sidoro Romeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Emenon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidoro Romeu in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Casado was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxel Bernia in the 54th minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Haroldo Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Emenon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Sidoro Romeu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Emenon. Re Loco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidoro Romeu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur was substituted for Eugenio Gasteiz. Re Loco's Silvano Micael was substituted for Elvio Alfonso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidoro Romeu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Emenon saved Re Loco from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Re Loco's zone, Sidoro Romeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Emenon came out of the goal and Sidoro Romeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Martxel Bernia put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Haroldo Emenon. Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Re Loco's Guillen Ubiña threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narciso Sauveur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Niceto Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Guillen Ubiña made a huge save. Re Loco's Haroldo Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidoro Romeu in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Sengrat Vid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Haroldo Emenon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
