The excitement rose when Jukatriz's Josué de Salles after 72 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper to hold. Hugo de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Natal Quintanilla sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Defensores de Lombroso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jukatriz.
