Carlos Eduardo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Washington dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Lenílson de Almeida got a free kick in the 16th minute. Carlos Eduardo Chaves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castanheiro SC's Jeferson Mandrak shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeferson Mandrak took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Eduardo Chaves. Carlos Eduardo Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carlos Eduardo Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Salles's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Cristian Salles got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeferson Mandrak took the corner. At last the ball reached Cristian Salles at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Roceira SC. 0-3. Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Rezende in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Cristian Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carlos Eduardo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Castanheiro SC's zone, Richard Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandão Penha came out of the goal and Richard Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeferson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Chaves having to interfere. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Mário Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Tasso came free, but Fernandão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Washington dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roceira SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When Kauan Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Kauan Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Rezende. Castanheiro SC's Jeferson Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Chaves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Cristian Salless short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Carlos Eduardo Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th minute of the match Roceira SC got a corner. Castanheiro SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lenílson de Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. If José Maria Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Castanheiro SC's Cristian Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Carlos Eduardo Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. A hard shot 84 in the game by Cristian Salles from a close distance when the talented Carlos Eduardo Chaves managed to make a qualified save. Roceira SC's players were relieved. If Cristian Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Mandrak in the 95th minute of play. The Castanheiro SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
