The referee gave The Underdogs a penalty, 3 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denny Haan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ornopata's Roberto Requena. 0-1. Calle Inda charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Inda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denny Haan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Requena having to interfere. Ornopata:s Roberto Requena showed great skill when he stopped Denny Haan:s penalty. Roberto Requena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Haan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shao Hui Li blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Requena having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Requena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Meindert Jonkman in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Shao Hui Li ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Requena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Calle Inda was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Inda to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Midas Field shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Requena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, William Enebro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornopata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. The Underdogs's Richard Peppinck was substituted for Godfried de Boer. After 36 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by William Enebro. After 39 minutes, Xosepe Iñigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornopata and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Xosepe Iñigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ornopata defense, Denny Haan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Requena. The Ornopata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Requena should have stopped the shot. Roberto Requena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Hui Li in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Thanks to some nice moves Shao Hui Li could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Roberto Requena however easily saved by the left post. Shao Hui Li recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Meindert Jonkman hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Midas Field to maneuver through the defense. When The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ornopata's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Requena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Yépez Abrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Yépez Abrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shao Hui Li in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roberto Requena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shao Hui Li got free with Roberto Requena in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Underdogs's Thijs Brugmans quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugenio Laincera, made in the 87th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Shao Hui Li put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Requena. Roberto Requena was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Shao Hui Li capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shao Hui Li really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The The Underdogs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Underdogs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
