In the 4th minute Mainumby were awarded a corner. Amadeo Olivar went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Honorato Omero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fabricio Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Santiago Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Rigoberto Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Fabio Rallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Gau, 1-0. Agustin Vinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Beltza in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bustos Teijeira got free with Santiago Gau in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes Mainumby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bustos Teijeira who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ricardo Velarroa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 21 minutes into the match. Agustin Vinas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute Fabio Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Benigno Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Caseres to maneuver through the defense. Vito Areta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Santiago Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Rallo in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Gerardo Oinatz got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Mainumby's Isaac Urtungo was substituted for Gerardo Oinatz. Mainumby made a substitution. Candido Cugat replaced Candido Suero. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Urtungo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Beltza came free, but Agustin Vinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Camilo Barriobero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taltum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mainumby the free kick. When Rigoberto Santxol fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Rigoberto Santxol a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Beltza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Mainumby's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Barriobero, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
