In the 13th minute, Ernesto Delle Donne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Raymundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Ernesto Delle Donne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Motta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 25 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Eraldo Motta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Raymundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Endura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Amos Maurizi made a huge save. Eloy Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Delle Donne in the 35th minute of play. Amos Maurizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Cebrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Eloy Raymundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Motta's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Eloy Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Delle Donne in the 38th minute of play. A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Monte Hermoso Beach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corrado Pietropaolo took the corner. A.S. Udinese's Corrado Pietropaolo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eloy Raymundo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eloy Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Dossena in the 44th minute of play. Eloy Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Dossena in the 46th minute of the match. If Benedicto Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Alessio Ferreri replaced Ferenc Kocsis.

In the 64th minute, Eraldo Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Udinese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A.S. Udinese's Filippo Di Cesare was substituted for Emilio Dossena. After having played for 70 minutes, Ernesto Delle Donne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Delle Donne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Motta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 72nd playminute. Eloy Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Pietropaolo. Filippo Di Cesare in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eloy Raymundo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Filippo Di Cesare did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Eloy Raymundo 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Eraldo Motta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eloy Raymundo. Eraldo Motta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Lázaro Osasun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Carmine Vani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Raymundo. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmine Vani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. If Guillermo Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Di Cesare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.S. Udinese eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
