The Riesgo Cero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Pinto should have stopped the shot. Adam Przybylo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Sokolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Barnaba Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Borcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Wlodzimierz Sokolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Pinto. Riesgo Cero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wlodzimierz Sokolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Pinto having to make a save.
