The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 15th minute of play. Júlio Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korneliusz Barna went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 31st minute of play. Xerxes Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's zone, Frank Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Peter came out of the goal and Frank Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Korneliusz Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 47th minute of play. The Fúria Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Korneliusz Barna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luís Gustavo Carvalho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Júlio Porto made a huge save. If Korneliusz Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Porto was a little too slow when Korneliusz Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Fúria Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 76thth minute of the game Korneliusz Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Gustavo Carvalho's late challenge caught a Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Gustavo Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Korneliusz Barna scored 0-6 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fúria Futebol Clube booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar-Allan Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Korneliusz Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti played a much better game than Fúria Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Fúria Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
