Astor Cefero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Marcos Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Azeari in the 10th minute of play. Marcos Xabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Nastasio in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Nastasio got free with Marcos Xabel in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Menchu FC's Astor Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Mota in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Mendebal in the 28th minute of the match. When Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gaston Mendebal in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Tono made a kick off. If Gaston Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Mota in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Alberto Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Cefero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Severo Tono's late challenge caught a Menchu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Tono helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menchu FC's Luca Prodan was substituted for Manuel Gomesano. In the 89th minute of the match, Alberto Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Astor Cefero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Blas Nastasio got a free kick in the 90th minute. Radu Aliuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Astor Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Resurrección Diabólica Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
