The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Giertych got free with Oliver Can in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Cwynar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Pustak, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Waldemar Cwynar came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Mintis Vilnius's Aldas Galkus. But to his dismay, Aldas Galkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FK Mintis Vilnius's zone, Mikolaj Giertych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Can came out of the goal and Mikolaj Giertych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kęstutis Latoža made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arūnas Pukelis. Waldemar Cwynar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 23rd minute of play. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 24th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Waldemar Cwynar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 25th minute of the match. Waldemar Cwynar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Kęstutis Latoža was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Mintis Vilnius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Olimpia Warszawa the free kick. A collision led to FK Mintis Vilnius getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kęstutis Latoža hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, FK Mintis Vilnius's Tomas Danilevičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Cwynar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Oliver Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Giertych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikolaj Giertych might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Can. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikolaj Giertych ran back to his position shaking his head. FK Mintis Vilnius's Oliver Can proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FK Mintis Vilnius from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Oliver Can had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikolaj Giertych. Waldemar Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 41st minute of the match. Waldemar Cwynar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldas Galkus in the 46th minute of play. After the first half FK Mintis Vilnius were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Danilevičius to make the kick off. Kęstutis Latoža hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 54th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Waldemar Cwynar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Cwynar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldas Galkus in the 56th minute. Waldemar Cwynar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Cwynar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Kęstutis Latoža. Waldemar Cwynar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Jack Sugar replaced Lachezar Tetevenski. Sharma Sharma struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Oliver Can didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. Leandro Grimi made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arūnas Pukelis however managed to control. Waldemar Cwynar made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tomas Danilevičius sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Cwynar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubertas Dabkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Waldemar Cwynar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubertas Dabkevičius. In the 90th minute of the match KS Olimpia Warszawa got a corner. FK Mintis Vilnius's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jack Sugar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KS Olimpia Warszawa's Jack Sugar to fire away a dangerous shot which Oliver Can despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle sounded FK Mintis Vilnius left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KS Olimpia Warszawa.
