Morgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, J.P. Morgan made a precise shot to the right of Otávio Penha. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Ramos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, J.P. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otávio Penha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 92nd play minutes Hugo Saboya shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Otávio Penha and just under the crossbar into goal. Universitario de deportes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
