Genaro Abendano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oswald Winnepennincx went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the RomoLerouX UniteD UXX defense, Oswald Winnepennincx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Abendano. The RomoLerouX UniteD UXX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Abendano should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Genaro Abendano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswald Winnepennincx. 20 minutes into the game, one of RomoLerouX UniteD UXX:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Mathew Romo-Leroux got a free kick in the 27th minute. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Genaro Abendano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Melander in the 28th minute of play. Nusrettin Dadaloğlu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The National Team Cape-Verde fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Genaro Abendano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Björklund in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ender Yalçın in the 40th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Campos Ramiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Genaro Abendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nusrettin Dadaloğlu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Queirós in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ender Yalçın to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zair Hasa in the 51st minute of play forced RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Genaro Abendano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Abendano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Broberg in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Narciso Labarra hit a great ball. Lorenzo Badas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Genaro Abendano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachary Pliszka's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Queirós in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Ender Yalçın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RomoLerouX UniteD UXX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
