A beautiful save bye Yala's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Geovanildo Luis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Gaucho came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanildo Luis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Curcio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Igor Hats. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 28th minute of play. Ronaldinho Gaucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Hats in the 37th minute of play. Ronaldinho Gaucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 42nd minute of play. Marcial Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zacarias Rik hit a great ball. After 47 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Henrique Camargo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanildo Luis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Yala's Carolo Bizen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 61st minute of play. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 63rd minute of the match. Geovanildo Luis took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Curcio. Zeledon Curcio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Horácio Abraão replaced Ronaldinho Gaucho. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cássio de Andrade was substituted for João Francisco Arce. Zeledon Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Abraão in the 73rd minute of the match. Yala's Zeledon Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Horácio Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Adhemar Santos took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Zeledon Curcio to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Yala's Freddy Valentine got a free kick in the 86th minute. Zeledon Curcio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Horácio Abraão sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Curcio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adhemar Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 90 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Abraão. Joinville City - FSCMZ played a much better game than Yala and deserved their victory. The Yala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
