Ahmet Korkut Ateşoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Horst-Peter Unterberger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dražen Ladić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Adrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiger De Hond in the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Cordero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidiu Adrian. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Ovidiu Adrian was a little too slow when Marcelo Cordero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Primeiro in the 27th minute of the match. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 29th minute of play. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Cordero in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Adrian saved Poli Timisoara from getting behind. Vilhelm Larsson made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tiger De Hond. Ovidiu Adrian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Cordero's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Marcelo Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marcelo Cordero made the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Larsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Cordero in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Adrian saved Poli Timisoara from getting behind. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by Horst-Peter Unterberger in the 66th minute really tested Dražen Ladić's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 74th minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Cristobal Polo replaced Cristoforo Cristofari. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Conor Gallagher was substituted for Jose Bero. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Haroldo Alfonso was substituted for Marcelo Cordero. In the 76th minute, Çağdaş Yuvakuran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Tiger De Hond came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağdaş Yuvakuran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiger De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Çağdaş Yuvakuran scored to the left of an out of position Dražen Ladić, making the score, 3-1.
