To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Donahue saved Colorado FC from getting behind. Colorado FC's Jimmy Donahue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo in the 6th minute of play. Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jimmy Donahue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Colorado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo came free, but Jimmy Donahue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Donahue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo in the 18th minute of the match. Tom Erickson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jimmy Donahue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Colorado FC's Tom Erickson got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Tom Erickson off the ground. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jonathon Banning made the kick off in the second half. Warriors of Gora™'s attentive Lazar Cukić managed to snatch the ball when Randy Bell made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Colorado FC got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Avery. After 67 played minutes, Warriors of Gora™'s Goran Jeknić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimmy Donahue came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Warriors of Gora™ reached it. Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Donahue. Jimmy Donahue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Bastos in the 74th minute of play forced Colorado FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Warriors of Gora™'s Claudinho Bastos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Donahue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimmy Donahue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Dominique Avery was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, one of Colorado FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colorado FC. Colorado FC's Allan Madsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yu Wei Lin in the 93 minute of the game. Jimmy Donahue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo in the 96th minute of play forced Colorado FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Donahue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Donahue. Colorado FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Warriors of Gora™ fully deserved thier win.
