Freddy Tilens made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Maurinho Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Teodor Huștiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Maranhense in the 9th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Maurinho Maranhense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Tilens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Maranhense in the 16th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Wellington Neves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 林林光, made in the 17th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Traian in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Tilens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Shaun McLae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Oloieru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Verschelde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Oloieru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun McLae in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Axel Davus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Oloieru. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Davus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Verschelde in the 34th minute of play. Andrei Oloieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Verschelde in the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Verschelde came free, but Andrei Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes KFC Paal-Tervant's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihnea Stanca who took care of the corner kick. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mihnea Stanca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddy Tilens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Freddy Tilens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maurinho Maranhense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. A collision led to Fotbal Club Vaslui getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gică Hăulică hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 96 minutes of play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Zézinho Moraes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Tilens was left in no man's land by his defense there! KFC Paal-Tervant's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
