S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Babür Kongurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Tasso's late challenge caught a Defensores de Belén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. Rony Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Babür Kongurtay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio Torrecillas was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Inácio Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inácio Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Abastas came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wágner Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caio Torrecillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Prado in the 56th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Caio Torrecillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Julio Elivareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Defensores de Belén defense, Inácio Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Torrecillas. The Defensores de Belén fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Torrecillas should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Babür Kongurtay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarbas Guedes. Babür Kongurtay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Caio Torrecillas came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by S S Palestra Italia's Wágner Prado. But to his dismay, Wágner Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Robinho Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S S Palestra Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belén the free kick. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Robinho Castro hit a great ball. Julio Elivareo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot S S Palestra Italia's keeper Jarbas Guedes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.
