Angelo Urtsua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Leroy Parkinson in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caballeritos del Baile's Ivan Urti. Angelo Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Dumitrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Ilie Dumitrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Diogo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Iker Cavia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Raimundo Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Diogo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Urtsua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 25th minute Liam Hähner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Martins in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Urtsua saved Caballeritos del Baile from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Diogo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Spartan FC Mogilany's zone, Jairo Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Cavia came out of the goal and Jairo Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Urtsua came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartan FC Mogilany's Diogo Martins. But to his dismay, Diogo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Hähner in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Diogo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Martins in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Caballeritos del Baile defense, Diogo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Urtsua. The Caballeritos del Baile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Urtsua should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Deunoro to make the kick off. Angelo Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Hähner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liam Hähner succeeded in the game's 59th minute to get real power on a long shot . Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-8! The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Martins got free with Angelo Urtsua in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Martins in the 64th minute. Liam Hähner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Angelo Urtsua made a huge save. In the 71st minute Spartan FC Mogilany were awarded a corner. Konstanty Smolarek went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Hähner got free with Angelo Urtsua in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Urtsua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Dumitrescu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Martins in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Spartan FC Mogilany booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spartan FC Mogilany's Wojciech Skaradowski was substituted for Diogo Martins. After 90 played minutes, Caballeritos del Baile's Marcelo Peio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iker Cavia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caballeritos del Baile reached it. Liam Hähner might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Urtsua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liam Hähner ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Spartan FC Mogilany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caballeritos del Baile throughout the match.
