Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaac Kalfhage started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Isaac Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merrill Pryor took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Peruzzi. Angel Peruzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Filiph Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiph Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Unax in the 9th minute of the match. BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Kalfhage in the 11th minute of play. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Kalfhage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in BATIgol FC's zone, Isaac Kalfhage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Peruzzi came out of the goal and Isaac Kalfhage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aston Villa FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after BATIgol FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isaac Kalfhage took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Viggo Andersson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Kalfhage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Isaac Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Peruzzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. Angel Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Kalfhage in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Peruzzi saved BATIgol FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Feliciano Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Julian Unax recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiph Hägg. Julian Unax showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Isaac Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Peruzzi having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Aston Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Forsberg. Nils-Åke Gunnarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Peruzzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils-Åke Gunnarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Unax to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aston Villa FC's Isaac Kalfhage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angel Peruzzi. Angel Peruzzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Isaac Kalfhage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Peruzzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Isaac Kalfhage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Peruzzi having to make a save. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Kalfhage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torgny Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonas Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Angel Peruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiph Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Elija in the 68th minute of play. Isaac Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Angel Peruzzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aston Villa FC. In the 75th minute, Aston Villa FC's Isaac Kalfhage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angel Peruzzi. Angel Peruzzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Isaac Kalfhage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Peruzzi having to make a save. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Aston Villa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
