The ball had pretty good speed, but Magne Gunnarsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 8th minute, Dimitri Bougault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Tristan Vicente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Antonin Dagorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitri Bougault. Per Stenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Stenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per Stenberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rönnöfors FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Antonin Dagorne scored to the left of an out of position Magne Gunnarsson, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman was substituted for Olimpiu Mirciulescu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaud Konieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Cadart in the 52nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Stelian Volosin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tristan Vicente quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 64th minute, Antonin Dagorne made a precise shot to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tristan Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonin Dagorne's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The Herblay fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Herblay's Antonin Dagorne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 80th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitri Bougault's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Tristan Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Tristan Vicente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Herblay had won after a very even match.
