The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Matias Gipuzkoa sped through S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. 7 minutes into the game, Gugu Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ the free kick. In the 8th minute, Gugu Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the game Fan Liang Li made a throw-in which Hugo Fernandez played forward. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Burmeister in the 13th minute of play. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting a goal against them. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's attentive Wincent Poling managed to snatch the ball when Fan Liang Li made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Ştefan Magheran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Matias Gipuzkoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vassilis Nentakis. The goal made the score 2-0. Vassilis Nentakis made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Matias Gipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Pelayo in the 33rd minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Magheran, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Ştefan Magheran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ştefan Magheran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Ştefan Magheran notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez. Jose Nuñez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Burmeister in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ştefan Magheran was the one to do the kick off. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Magheran in the 51st minute of play. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gipuzkoa in the 52nd minute of play. Baldomiro Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ defense, Ştefan Magheran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Nuñez. The ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Nuñez should have stopped the shot. Jose Nuñez came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran. But to his dismay, Ştefan Magheran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ made a substitution. Camilo Ferran replaced Steve Burmeister. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gipuzkoa in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ştefan Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Netto got free with Jose Nuñez in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ştefan Magheran took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Nuñez. Jose Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gipuzkoa in the 81st minute of play. Jose Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Zonta in the 87th minute. With a little luck, ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez got control of the ball when Alfredo Zonta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Netto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Costin Ivasiuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Ivasiuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Nentakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Zonta in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Pușcașu.
