The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolito Muñoz got free with Lino Naelio in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Simon Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alijilán returns's protests and gave Simon Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Alijilán returns's zone, Duarte Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Naelio came out of the goal and Duarte Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Martxot Guilarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lino Naelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesar Sagrario hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perez Marino in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the game, Ixona Lucas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Simon Bautista was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Alijilán returns's Simon Bautista got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ismael Esiquio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Birila Burdeos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Perez Marino came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Naelio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Martxot Guilarte sent off a good shot on target. Pero Artiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lino Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Gustavo Bide made the kick off in the second half. When Lugo Bailey came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the ARES FC DeusDeFutbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lugo Bailey couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perez Marino in the 52nd minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ARES FC DeusDeFutbol booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Lugo Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lugo Bailey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Bide's late challenge caught a ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Bide helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alijilán returns's Gustavo Bide got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Casimiro Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Manolito Muñoz in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alijilán returns's goalie prevented a goal. Perez Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Naelio had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Duarte Ortiz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lino Naelio came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Duarte Ortiz. But to his dismay, Duarte Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Martxot Guilarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Naelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ismael Esiquio hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Duarte Ortiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lino Naelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ARES FC DeusDeFutbol reached it. In the 90th minute Perez Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Perez Marino came free, but Lino Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Naelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perez Marino went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol had played much better football throughout.
