Jesus Luke had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Santo Damario from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cristian Vladimirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 崔光笑's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Atlético Montserrat got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Segundo Belarmo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubilay İmge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Biskupiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jesus Luke made a huge save. In the 16th minute Lech Biskupiak suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Riesgo Cero made a substitution. Haldun Mahir replaced Lech Biskupiak. In the 15th minute, one of Atlético Montserrat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético Montserrat. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Riesgo Cero's Joel Emeterio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jesus Luke. Haldun Mahir took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Luke. Jesus Luke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Riesgo Cero's Amadeo Firman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Luke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 34thth minute of the game 崔光笑 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstanty Galagan's late challenge caught a Riesgo Cero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstanty Galagan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when Atlético Montserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstanty Galagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Montserrat's Segundo Belarmo got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Damario to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Boruta got free with Cristian Vladimirescu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Owen in the 55th minute of the match. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Jajesniak in the 62nd minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Jajesniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Abelardo Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Mahir in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético Montserrat defense, Santo Damario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Luke. The Atlético Montserrat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Luke should have stopped the shot. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 74th minute of play. Jesus Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kubilay İmge, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 82nd minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Owen in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haldun Mahir in the 88th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Jesus Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
