None of the them looked very eager to play. 崔光笑 started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, VAMO ARRIBA's Eusebio Pacho got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Atlético Montserrat's Segundo Belarmo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aquiles Ellande but with some difficulty. Aquiles Ellande made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Michael Owen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Galo in the 13th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Jesus Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piara Gerli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jesus Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Gerli in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match VAMO ARRIBA got a corner. Atlético Montserrat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulino Galo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 崔光笑's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aquiles Ellande firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Aquiles Ellande managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Atlético Montserrat's 崔光笑 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to VAMO ARRIBA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ignacio Bernebe hit a great ball. VAMO ARRIBA's Aquiles Ellande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save VAMO ARRIBA from getting a goal against them. Piara Gerli took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Luke. Jesus Luke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 43rd minute Paulino Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Montserrat made a substitution. Zula Jajesniak replaced 崔光笑. In the 48th match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. After 49 minutes of play, Atlético Montserrat's Konstanty Galagan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Ellande was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when VAMO ARRIBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaques Feurer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Gerli in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Atlético Montserrat's Michael Owen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Ellande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Daniel Skröder hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Aquiles Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Boruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Atlético Montserrat were the better team. Atlético Montserrat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
