Józef Mlynarczyk made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Santo Damario sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Julio Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 20th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Damario came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Józef Mlynarczyk could save by the left post. Cristian Vladimirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio-Paul Caniggia's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 25 minutes, Claudio-Paul Caniggia made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio-Paul Caniggia took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Vladimirescu. Cristian Vladimirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Riesgo Cero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Odilon to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Gonzalo Montiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Casado in the 40th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Riesgo Cero's Józef Mlynarczyk threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kubilay İmge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Deportivo Pucho were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Claudio-Paul Caniggia made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 52nd minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Tolino went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Pucho's Delmar Jerico was substituted for Gonzalo Montiel. After 72 played minutes Deportivo Pucho got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Thomas. Józef Mlynarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Biskupiak in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio-Paul Caniggia came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Litchfield hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pucho's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Damario came free, but Józef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
