After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. If Feng Ting Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 55th minute. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 71st minute of play. Natalio Mazuste made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zézinho Neiva. 97 minutes into the game, Natalio Mazuste threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula got a free kick in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATHLETICO PRaiano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
