The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Benigno Abreu in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ogro F.C.'s Emirşah Öktemer. Gong Chao Ke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 5th minute Gong Chao Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Chao Ke in the 7th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gong Chao Ke sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes, Emil Chwalkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Ogro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gong Chao Ke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Pankracy Glogowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Gong Chao Ke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Van Halen was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Alex Van Halen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Chao Ke in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Pankracy Glogowski was a little too slow when Gong Chao Ke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Gong Chao Ke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pankracy Glogowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Jerônimo Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gong Chao Ke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Chao Ke in the 44th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Berdoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Chao Ke, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Van Halen took the corner. Alex Van Halen made a great header on Ogro F.C.'s corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Chao Ke in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Gong Chao Ke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gong Chao Ke might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Glogowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gong Chao Ke ran back to his position shaking his head. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Chao Ke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gong Chao Ke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gong Chao Ke. Gong Chao Ke scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Zimmermann came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gong Chao Ke took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Igor Cavalera replaced Gong Chao Ke. In the 86th minute Nicko McBrain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicko McBrain came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
