An unexpectedly hard shot by Pier Meyer in the 7th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Patrick Knechtli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Thorwart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when ☠ Metal Militia ☠ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Téo Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Pier Meyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Patrick Knechtli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Knechtli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Emil Blomkvist's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Téo Savion came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Glenn Danzig could save by the left post. In the 25th minute Nils-Emil Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Knechtli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Thorwart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. Glenn Danzig made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Téo Savion sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Knechtli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Thorwart in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Glenn Danzig got control of the ball when Medero Gadea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelius Heck kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Glenn Danzig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Topuz in the 41st minute of the match. Patrick Knechtli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gene Emmenegger hit a great ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Knechtli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Schroeder took the corner. Pier Meyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olympique Fribourg made a substitution. Marcellus Walpert replaced Daniel Schroeder. When ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique Fribourg's goalie prevented a goal. Doctor Lorenz replaced Frank Thorwart. In the 83rd minute of the match, Nils-Emil Blomkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrick Knechtli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Knechtli saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Blomkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Fribourg the free kick. In the 87th minute, Nils-Emil Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes in the game, Doctor Lorenz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. Nicko McBrain kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Olympique Fribourg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ☠ Metal Militia ☠ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
