Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jörg Moratschke started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute Andy Schmid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Hebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Albert Einstein got a free kick in the 11th minute. Kai van de Sand was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Schmid came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Einstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Hebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Schmid in the 22nd minute of play. Nikola Portner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Diel in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Andy Schmid made a precise shot to the right of Tim Hebel. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. FV Wienerwald's Tim Hebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenzo Wagner in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Sven-Christian Kaindl got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Schmid during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Fabian Schär replaced Andy Schmid. Nikola Portner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jan-André Dospel. Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Christian Kaindl in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Clement Rothstein. Tim Hebel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clement Rothstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Laurenzo Wagner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Schär was the one to do the kick off. Tim Hebel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Schär in the 51st minute. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Albert Einstein hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Roman Diel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Portner came out of the goal and Roman Diel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Hebel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaetano Rothstein showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schär came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikola Portner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörg Moratschke in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Diel came free, but Nikola Portner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clement Rothstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Hebel having to interfere. FV Wienerwald's Waldemar Giesen was substituted for Jan-André Dospel. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Klaas Frei replaced Gaetano Rothstein. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. In the 69th minute Jörg Moratschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Fabian Schär had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Hebel. FV Wienerwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Schär was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Andre-Yann Kahofer replaced Gregor Rühmann. Kai van de Sand kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Fabian Schär got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Diel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Nikola Portner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FV Wienerwald. Tim Hebel was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Clement Rothstein capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clement Rothstein really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Espen Steelers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
