After some careless play in the Zlatan BK defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ellis Schenck. The Zlatan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ellis Schenck should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Padro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ingemar Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Ubaldo Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uygar Orhan got free with Ingemar Åberg in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Demesio made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernando Arango however managed to control. Ubaldo Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ellis Schenck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
